Do I need to remove the motor mount bracket to remove the stock driver's side header?

I did on mine, it's not a huge time waste either way. You'll spend the most time on the passenger header.

Maybe 10-15 mins but you'll be moving the motor every which way to get the passenger side, leaving this on may make that part harder

I heard the passenger side is the PITA.
Driver's side, aside from the steering shaft, looks to be the most spacious.

I did mine on the floor and it took me 4 hours for passenger side, hardest part is tighting the top bolts, best tool was a stubby ratcheting wrench and driver side took 1 hour and 30 min and I was completely done total time was about 8 hours including taking breaks, jacking the car up and putting the exhaust back together
