Driver seat: Squeaky-go, squeaky-stop

Sounds like a silly complaint but the driver seat in my premium sportscar sounds like my great great auntie's rocking chair.

Whenever I accelerate (i.e. it's not intermittent, it's always there), the seat goes "sqqqqqqawwwwk" - same thing when I brake. Bouncing my butt on the seat or pressing against the seat back with my back does not recreate the sound. Happens irrespective of seat/seatback/lumbar position. Gave the whole interior a good leather cleaning and conditioning on the off chance that might lube up any rubbing going on, to no avail - I'm betting the sound is coming from somewhere inside the seat.

Taking it into the dealer tomorrow for an oil change, I'll see what they think and report back in case anyone else has the same issue.

Ford is changing my backrest frame because of a slight wobble and tiny noise similar to yours. They'll probably end up changing the whole seat because the handle to adjust seat height just stayed in my hand. Not too impressed...

Update on the above:

I brought the car in on April 29th so they could fix both the aforementioned seat squawking and a new underbody (exhaust?) rattle, which sounds a lot like what was described in this thread. The seat motor was also cutting out intermittently (I have comfort entry on).

First two days they said they "couldn't duplicate the problems" and/or "those sounds are normal". So I made another trip to the dealer, took him for a couple loops around the parking lot in the car and he admitted the seat squeaking was abnormal. A quick sound comparison with another GT also put to rest the theory that the 1,500RPM loud exhaust rattle is normal. So by then at least they admitted there were problems to be fixed.

Few days later, the dealer mechanic informed me that they will be replacing the seat track hoping that will fix the dreaded squawk - I don't know how that makes sense mechanically, but at least they're admitting there's a problem. It will probably be this Wednesday before he gets the part in. He's still trying to figure out what's rattling in the exhaust.

tl;dr my Mustang will have been in the shop for at least 2 weeks, about half of which has been spent convincing the dealer that there was a problem and the rest of which will have been waiting on parts.

(I also asked them to see if there's anything that can be done about the numerous dash rattles that have crept into the car in the last few thousand miles..."It's a Mustang," said the tech. "Mustangs are loud cars." I was kinda hoping for interior build quality that would hold a candle to my girlfriend's rattle-free Civic, but I guess comparing an American muscle car with sporty suspension to a Japanese ecomobile is unfair?)
