Went into my car this morning to go for a ride. Went to make an adjustment to the seat as I felt further back than what I had set it to and the seat would not move when I pushed the switch on the seat. I can't move it at all in any direction.

I have adjusted the seat in the past and even set the programable button. I also noticed the programable button(s) won't beep when I hold it down.

The passenger seat works as normal.

Just thinking out loud:

Seat motor gone bad?

Took a look at Fuse #12, drive seat fuse (30A) looks good.

Just asking you guys to see if I can save myself a trip to the dealer.

Thanks,

Rich

Alright, I guess I'm going to have a conversation with myself so this can be on the forum for anyone else who runs into this problem,....

In October, before i was able to put my trickle charger on the car, the battery ran dead. I went out the start her and,.. nothing. Charged the battery and put on trickle charger all go, or so I thought.

I guess for whatever reason or computer that is responsible for the driver's side seat did not activate properly resulting in the driver's seat and memory seat module from working.

The fix:

I disconnected the positive battery terminal (and while I was at it and had the terminal disconnected, I switch the Driver with the passenger side fuse),....... Bingo, the drivers seat is working again. The fuses are both good.

It was the power cycle of the system that did the trick.

Take it to the dealer, sounds like it is still under warranty. You said that you don't want to go there, but it doesn't sound like you have a choice.
