Drive shaft question

This may have already been posted but Ive heard that the s550 v6's share the same drive shaft as the GT's now. I was wondering if anyone knows if this is true. Im looking to take off my speed limiter so if they are the same, what are the GT's speed limited to if at all? Here are links to both the drive shafts and from what i can tell they look identical. (These are for auto trans)

The links you posted are only for the u-joint in the driveshaft.

if you plan on keeping the car for a long time do a one piece drive shaft

 

[BmacIL]

EB and V6 share the same driveshaft.
