Not sure why you guys keep arguing with him, he spewed the exact same nonsense for a long time in the big 50 -70 mph vibration thread.
Just ignore his posts & he will buzz off to annoy others somewhere else.

:focus:

:repost: Another one who stir the pot................ My point is how people react when they have a problem, never said there wasn't problem or denied , never said everyone was crazy and lying about it. You just took it that way not my problem but mostly it comes down too because I didn't jump off deep like you. AS a tech people who have issues, problems always make it out to be bigger problem thinking it will help fix it faster or better. Are there people who read internet then start thinking there vehicle have same problem HELL YES small percent. Yes this is true be there and done that with owners vehicles. Yet somehow tech and dealer are piece of crap because it didn't fix it because they with off what internet said we just follow what owner wanted.

SAME noise (BS) just different year like MT82 came out, then rear end gear noise on S197.

OH you seem to forget mine has slight vibration too. Has been in twice for it will go back in but they will have field engineer with vibration analyzer next time soon. Right now getting 03 Ford Ranger Level II ready for V8 from my 99 Ranger.

I don't care if we agree or not. All I'm saying is everyone has their own experience and neither one of us can say they are right or wrong. But it's pretty well known that there is a vibration issue with the S550 Mustang ... even you agree to that. If you don't believe everything people say, then so be it ... just don't tell everyone they are making shit up and it's all in their head.
The fact that you claim "you don't care" if anyone agrees or not is the root of your problem. Vibration "issues" are entirely subjective until someone posts actual vibration analyzer readings that indicate an actual problem is present.

Until that happens, it's simply people on a forum complaining about an issue that may or may not exist. And based upon my experience with S550 Mustangs (both GT and Ecoboost), the "issues" people on this forum are complaining about are non-existent.

LoL ... non-existent? No, the problem is people like you who think it's all made up in people's heads because they never see it first hand (see your quote above). I guess if you never get infected by the Zika virus then it really doesn't exist.

And I don't know how many times you've brought up the 'vibration analyzer readings' BS so far, but you apparently haven't been paying attention when guys post up details of what the vibration analyzer measured when ran by Ford field engineers, and the fixes they incorporated to make the vibration disappear.

Car comes in with a vibration complaint, car gets analyzed by professional Ford field engineers, they confirm there is a vibration issue and incorporate fixes - the vibration is gone. Yeah, it's all "non-existent".

Now if Ford put out a TSB that specifically said to stop all trouble-shooting and use the vibration analyzer if initial simple steps A, B and C didn't work, then things might get addressed in a more focused manner at the dealerships. There are still a lot of dealerships shooting in the dark.

Sorry BUT everyone do experience vibration differently period. What one person says bad another person will say it's very slight or other way. HINT Vibration analyzer puts it in black and white not everyone's opinion on how bad or how slight.

AGAIN NO HAS EVER SAID THERE WASN'T A PROBLEM. THATS JUST THE WAY YOU WANT TO SEE IT. I haven't said that and neither has Fordtechone issue is the way you handle yourself about. PLUS you fail to see from my point of view and what I see. As a tech having actually freq not your butt feeling. Trust me I've been through this with owners with ride along. How I feel it will be different from you PERIOD.

I think we all see you two guys' viewpoint ... and it's not very positive. Maybe hearing people complain about their cars isn't something you guys are fond of because you hear it all day long ... but being a tech, that's all part of the job. I use to work at various motorcycle shops as a tech a long time ago, and I know what you mean.

FordTechOne clearly has said he doesn't think there is any issue. His quote from a few post above: "And based upon my experience with S550 Mustangs (both GT and Ecoboost), the "issues" people on this forum are complaining about are non-existent." His experience is obviously not the tell all to the issue ... one guy's data point that holds no weight compared to the poll and member's experiences.

I will agree that the vibration perception can be different with different people ... but anyone who thinks their Mustang has the problem should go to the dealership to have it checked out to see if they are correct or not. That doesn't always turn out very positive either, as every dealership will perceive the vibration differently too - especially the ones who try to trouble-shoot the vibration without the analyze and just shoot in the dark at fixing the problem.

Not sure who the moderator of this forum is but this should be a forum to help people. FordTechOne should be banned for making statements like " Until that happens, it's simply people on a forum complaining about an issue that may or may not exist. And based upon my experience with S550 Mustangs (both GT and Ecoboost), the "issues" people on this forum are complaining about are non-existent" ...I am A Auto Tech 35+ years and I can assure you my Mustang had a drive line vibration. I have worked with Techs with a bad attitude like FordTechOne he is no help to this forum. Please look at his posts all he does is belittle people. Moderator please get rid of him.

Totally agree with you 888. I have a 2016 GT with the same vibration issue as others that have posted here. It just started for me about 2k Miles ago which I currently have 16k now. My tires were Rebalanced and it has moved from 75-80mph to 81mph plus now. This post is a great help and will have the tires checked again as I believe this is my issue.

Comes down to you don't care because I don't agree with you. It's tech person vs non tech person and all they know is "it's broke" all repairs are simple, only should take 30mins to fix, will tell you how to fix it (through internet) yet have no clue. Forum polling holds more weight only to you but it's also highly subjective why because it's people opinion.

Do you know how much good vibration analyzer cost? Why most dealerships don't have one because it comes down to COST of tool VS how many times it used which is very little.

Don't know why you're so bitter ... maybe you need to find a different line of work ...

Guess you missed the part where I said I have tech/mechanic experience and I can see how you can get frustrated by people bitching all the time with problems. That's part of being a tech ... to fix problems all day long. And working at a dealership is supposed to be focused on customer service, regardless if the customer bitches about 'non-existant' problems or not - again part of the job to handle stuff like that. Every job I've ever had from being a tech/mechanic to being an engineer for a gigantic aerospace company involved solving problems and fixing things 90% of the time. So yeah, I can get that it 'gets old' being on the receiving end of handling problems all the time.

Even within a large corporation, the job was focused on customer service but on a larger scale, and some customers would want crazy shit for low cost, but we still tried to find ways to appease them because those customers were keeping us in business.

From what people have mentioned, it sounds like dealers can have the vibration analyzer sent to the dealership by Ford to use ... if they have someone there qualified to use it correctly. Otherwise, Ford will have to send a field engineer with an analyzer to trouble-shoot the problem.

driveline vibration

There is a problem with the driveline. The dealerships I have been going to say it is normal road vibration. If you put the car on a lift and put it in gear and go from 0-80 mph there is a large amount of vibration as well as noise(im pretty sure this is how on-the-car drive-shaft balance is done so it cant be hurting the car or voiding warranty. correct me if im wrong). Between 20-40 there is a clicking noise like a propeller, several other members have mentioned this. It is not road vibration as im not on the road doing this.

I have several other cars i have done this with. Nowhere near the amount of vibration or noise like the S550 mustang.

I really like the car but it is annoying how many problems there is with this car.

WOW you sure read more into things than what it is. Bitter nope just NON tech person like you don't understand. Bitter more like you now it's engineer don't know how to use analyzer.

How about this step up to the plate show all how it's done. I need a good laugh after you strike out few times

I think we are already getting a good laugh from your every response on this whole subject. People read you like they do from your own comments, so if you don't like the way you come across then only you can change that. What it boils down to is you crying about people complaining - which is pretty much laughable at this point. I think you just need to let it go and let people complain like they naturally will about a real problem with their cars. You or nobody else is going to change anything in that regard. Live with it or get out of the business before you give yourself an aneurysm.

I have been dealing with the road vibration excuse for a while until I took my car to a particular dealership in Orange two days ago, and the tech confirmed the issue so they ordered a new drive shaft. However, they said the clanking noise when shifting gears is normal! I saw that you live in So Cal so I might be able to help.

Actually joke on you because what else you going try to come up with about me. You even void questions I ask you why because you don't have a clue. Bitterness I see it everyday in the forums that means you too. Because I'm a tech so that make me the enemy. You only see what forums say but I see both forum BS and what happens at dealership.

I'm still waiting for you to step up to the plate show us all how it's done. But you won't just more of the same ranting and bitterness
