Mine let me switch from normal to sport(my mode) and manual with the "dyno plug" unplugged. I went and made a couple of short videos and in both I was in sport mode and pulled back into manual mode.

That is not what my owner's manual says:
I'm aware. But, you can try it for yourself. The brake pedal is not necessary, you can even do it while driving. Try it, I have.

The switch being held for five seconds will turn everything off. It's completely identical in this respect to pulling the dyno plug.
However, there is a bug in the software. Under certain circumstances, when the car slides in a certain way, it can suddenly reactivate by itself, with unpredictable consequences. This undesired and fully undocumented behaviour has been observed and discussed many times.

The switch will indeed turn the nannies completely off, but the only way to guarantee that they stay off no matter what is to pull the plug.

Not on mine it doesn't. Mine will not let you do a donut without unplugging the dyno plug. I have attempted numerous times. Must be an A10 thing.

You can also turn off Advancetrak by holding the brake pedal and the drive mode switch together for a number of seconds, at least on my car.

My gut feeling is that this does not fully disable stability control, just neuters it though. Anyone know for sure? Do I need to pull a fuse to completely disable it?
Dude, just leave well enough alone! 😂

I think the problem is the lack of understanding with traction control on/off ,and how it actually works in conjunction with stability control. I think a lot of people have never really pushed their cars beyond the limit. I’m not saying that as a bad thing.
Just the fact is it’s very easy to tell what’s going on if you go to a skid pan day or do any form of drifting and linking corners at speed. 100% without doubt , pulling the plug is the only way to have no Nannies interfering. If you use the switch they will be always hiding in the back ground If you have some rear wheel speed lest say 100kph and your fronts are doing 70 and then you apply more than 30% correction things start to cut the fun. even More apparent when changing direction fast…. like a controlled fish tail To link the next corner. It will do weird shit like close the throttle exactly when you don’t need to and you end up facing your passed. Haha.
from the cars I’ve driven and been in all mustang years are the same.
there is a direct relation between wheels speed differential and the amount of opposite lock applied. Just on the button Sometimes I’ve found you can keep it at bay if your Corrections are very smooth forward momentum is in range of wheel spin the car kind of thinks You have it. But go outside those parameters and it will cut in.
I think ford has done a very good job with the parameters allowed in these cars to give you some leeway Which I think is perfect on the street for a little zip out of a tight corner. But when you want to slide hard at the track or skid pan you just got to pull the plug to make the car do what you want it to do.

The biggest thing that you'll need to watch carefully is whether or not traction control is disabled. Track and Drag modes definitely disable it. The rear tires can and will break loose and if you're not expecting it, it can ruin your day.

10R80 transmission programming is also different and loads of fun in sport and track modes.

Everything else is sort of just bells and whistles. (Dash appearance, exhaust volume, steering feedback, magnaride setting, etc.)

Track mode also turns off alerts when you are following another car and the distance between the 2 cars decreases fast, i.e. when you are just doing laps behind someone and you are both breaking before entering a turn.

I don’t know if you can switch a 10 speed for the 6 speed automatic or not or if the computer is even compatible with the 6R80, I absolutely HATE that ten speed. It’s the most aggravating idiotic transmission I’ve ever had the displeasure of having in a new car. It’s the main reason I’m going to get rid of my 2020 GT.

If you want to COMPLETELY turn off ALL traction control influence, you have to unplug the ABS plug (or Dyno plug as some call it) to stop input to the system from the wheels. Even when you hold the button down and turn off ADVANCETRAC, there is still some timing retard left in the system. Same for the F150 (I have both). You will get 4 dialog boxes telling you ABS, ADVANCETRAC and other crap not avail or something to that effect. you "okay" out of the boxes and go. Now when you do this, you cannot switch out of Normal drive mode. You can try, but with out the speed sensor input to the system, it will not let you change.

5Star sells a switch you can install so you don't have to go under the hood to disable it.
5 Star Tuning Traction Control / Dyno Switch (2015 - 2024 Ford F-150)

I have one on my F`150 as I use it for drag and drive events and get more consistent times when it is truly disabled.
Looks like they only sell one for the F150’s, does this also work on the Mustang?
