Dressed up engine bays

I'm embracing the mechanical nature of the motor with some added whimsy(too much HGTV)

Fuse box and intake stickers, gold reflective tape, cut down garbage can lid, and little high voltage emblems on the coils.

I did not realize you switched out the orange Stang for a Grab Posterior Green one. I like the gold wrap but being more conservative, I wish it came in black so it would be more homogenous with the rest of my black and white engine bay. Any chance it comes in black?

BTW...I still have your parts in my car and now, just received by California Special spoiler to set the front end off. Could take me years to figure out how to mount it!

Hi there Matthewstorm.

This was my Stock intake and coil covers. Had them custom painted locally by and air brush artist.
I gave him the details and the picture of the Ruby, and how I wanted it to all come together, etc. Not Cheep!
But one gets what one payes for, I was blown away when I picked them up. Pictures don't do them justice,

Here's my before and after. Added a reservoir & master cylinder cover. Painted my engine cover and wiper fluid cap with VHT plastic paint.

Half way there. Ingot Silver from AutomotiveTouchUp, and their plastics adhesion and clear coat. Perfect match.

First picture is a color match against the back of the car. Second is final with clear coats and the third shows the difference between the base engine cover, which is next.

Looks great!! How did you do your lettering. I painted my covers as well. I used black vinyl tape for the indent line above and below the lettering. But I left the lettering the same color as the cover.

Thank you. I used a syringe with a metal tip for the letters and stripes. I saw people use vinyl, mask off everything and spray it, or use a syringe. I went this route and it came out great. Letters pop so much now.

Next is the engine cover. Thank you for the picture, I was planning on doing mine just like yours with silver on the sides and spray Ford 207 black on the top. I might even do those dots for the rivets. NICE.
