We use to call those things "jesus clips" back in the 80's and 90's when I did car audio. Why "jesus clips"? because you had to pray to jesus every time you had to pop one loose that it didn't break or snap off.

My car doesn't have a mark on it, no physical damage done. I looked it over before getting in. I live in FL and see parked cars get hit all the time and people don't leave notes. I've reported many people for hit and runs that I witnessed. If it were something like that I would have taken it completely apart to retrieve it.

I actually watched a very drunk older man and his son leave a restaurant next to my work, get in their car and back into a car. Then they almost hit 5 other cars and they weren't going to stop or leave a note on the car they hit. When they realized I was standing behind their car taking a picture of their tag before driving away they stumbled out of the car to check the other car for damage. I told them that they should leave a note with insurance information and an apology. The drunk son started to argue with me saying there's no damage, I clearly saw a scratched up bumper on the car they hit. He said that it was already like that before they hit it, I told him regardless it's against the law to leave the scene of an accident and I was calling the police if they left. They left and I called and reported the hit and run. It really pisses me off when people have no respect for other people's property.
