I need to take apart my door panel. Someone left a note tucked in my car window above the door handle and I didn't see it when I hit the remote to roll down the windows until it was too late. Now it's inside the door and I want to fish it out. What size are the bolts holding the door panel on the inside? Any help would be appreciated. I watched a video on how to remove it and it looks fairly easy and straightforward but I can't see the bolt very well to see what size it is. Thanks.

What's that called? Looks like a trip to Sears for more tools is in order. I already have a nice Craftsman set of sockets, standard and metric with a hex set. I don't have one of these though.

Winner, winner, chicken dinner! I give up, I have to take the entire door apart to pull the note out, not worth the trouble. With the panel off I can see I would have to take it apart further to get to it. Whoever left it is a dumb ass and it can stay there. Thanks for the help guys.

My car doesn't have a mark on it, no physical damage done. I looked it over before getting in. I live in FL and see parked cars get hit all the time and people don't leave notes. I've reported many people for hit and runs that I witnessed. If it were something like that I would have taken it completely apart to retrieve it.

I know but I seriously thought maybe someone left a note saying they hit me when I saw that there was a note on my window as it went down.

Lol, I read your post and I was scrolling down to say if you take the panel off you aren't going to get to the window without really disassembling the door. If its just in there I wouldn't worry about it either.
