Learned this lesson the hard way..Valet must have rubbed the front end when he parked it but it has broken the mounts off the side of the front bumper. Still waiting on a quote from one of the body shops to see how much the repair will be.

IIRC, there is a 7mm head bolt holding the facia to the tab block at that area. The facia tabs lock onto a receiving block and it is held there by by that 7mm screw. For you to see it, you have to remove the front wheel and the wheel well liner. If nothing is broken, it's just a matter of snapping it back into place and removing the 7mm head bolt. If there is paint damage and deformation, well then you are looking at labor to take off the whole facia splitter, stripes, paint and clear, and reassemble.

OEM stripes are costly. It will run in the many thousands (easily) if there is damage requiring a replacement facia as well.

Sorry to hear.

First place I took it too said the entire front bumper cover will need to be replaced due to the snaps being all broken off where im holding the bumper cover with my hand. He didnt want to attempt to plastic weld it back together nor did I want to let him try and have issues down the road. It also broke all the bottom facia pieces so the bottom lip will need to be replaced as well

Yes, if the tabs are broken, it's toast. It's going to cost. I wouldn't report it to the insurance company if possible, I would get the valet company to pay for the repair. Facia, labor, paint, stripes...... It's going to cost. An insurance claim will.show up on the carfax and it will appear that it was in an accident. Diminished value could be a player. Have the valet company to pay for it and don't let the body shop report the cars VIN.

Just be thankful it wasn't some specialty color that would be difficult to match

You are a brave man... I have never gave any vehicle I cared about to a valet parker. I know there are plenty of 5 star restaurants/hotels that routinely handle exotics, but I don't trust those kids with my expensive toy.
All of us here hope your GT350 is restored to its factory condition... Keep us posted!

I never give my car usually to valet parkers either but the Fairmont in Calgary has no parking lot its strictly valet parking which is BS.

Been there/done that with the 718... I decided to park 1/2 mile away which did not sit well with the wife when I was faced with a valet park that I did not feel good about. It is a tough decision.

Cool, The Canadian Rockies are the most beautiful place I've ever been! Would give my left nut to drive a GT350 from Calgary to Jasper!
