Valet Key/Mode?

I'm taking my car to get PPF film and CQuartz applied while I'm out of the country. I'll be gone for two weeks so I was thinking I would like to put the car in a Valet Mode that limits the cars performance.

I've done some searching here and in the manual but I can't seem to find a good answer. Anyone know if this can be done and if so, how?

My Key mode in the menu. Pull out the bottom liner in the cup holder and there is a slot to put one of your keys. Place the key inside that and using your steering wheel controls go into the "My Key" mode. In there you can limit RPM and play with other settings. I think they have a specific valet mode.

With the key in the cup-holder slot, it is programmed to your desired settings. Just make sure you give the right key to the shop. I learned the hard way one morning grabbing the wrong key and had to limp my way to work!

You can limit speed to as much as 60mph I believe and default to the nannys. There is no valet mode and you can't limit rpm that I know of.

MyKey will limit the speed, radio volume, Valet Mode will lock the touch screen and prevent them from any screen related functions

I have Valet mode in my 2017 with sync 3. It's in the menu and you just put in a passcode. Not exactly sure what it does though.

It restricts the radio lol.. Stupidest shit ever

It keeps them from accessing contacts and radio stuff, nothing more.

Does this mean that valet mode requires the radio? Will a base R have valet mode? Thanks :shrug:
