Im about to start my install this week, but does whipple have separate engine coolant or does it tie into engine coolant. Just curious.

Whipple comes with it's own oil. If you are referring to the intercooler coolant.. I use 50/50 Distilled water Ford Green stuff.

Using the same as stock works perfectly fine, especially if you have your car seeviced sometimes. This way someone who doesn't have knowledge of the supercharger modification can't add a different fluid than what your using and blend you mixture.

I have decided to use a different color fluid simply to let me know exactly what system is leaking if I were to see a certain color antifreeze on the ground. The supercharger will have its own closed loop coolant circuit and the engine will have its own, they are not tied together.

Good idea with the different colors, I'm going to do that as well!
