In the mid-'90s through early 2000s I bought several cars (happened to be GM if it makes any difference) and after about six months or maybe a year of ownership I'd get a survey from GM (not a third party like JD Power, etc, although I'd get those too) asking me how I liked/disliked various features/aspects of the car, was I satisfied with the quality, what problems did I have, etc. GM probably threw my responses in the trash, but at least they asked. I don't think I got anything like that from Ford on my 2011 or 2018 Mustangs. Does Ford not do owner surveys?

I had received one for my prior 2016 - it was a JD Power Survey with a brand new crisp $1.00 bill included. I took the $1.00 and survey went into trash.

Never received anything for my 2018; maybe they didn’t want to waste another $1.00.

The only important surveys to fill out would be the ones received form your Dealership after a Service Experience... because when you input negative remarks and the Dealership receives it, it really stirs up the hornets nest and COUNTS.

I've gotten quite a few surveys after my last Mustang purchase in 2015. I think the surveys from Ford were handled by another company, but it was Ford paying for the surveys. My pet peeve is some surveys pigeon hole buyers. They assume every buyer wants better fuel economy and more electronics on their vehicles, for instance. So they are probably ending up with false positives on some of those topics. They don't understand that some of us want a simple car with big cubic inches and prefer not to be overly distracted while driving.

I hope you remembered to drop the no postage necessary return envelope in the outgoing mail.
