It's all in your perspective. To a Miata driver a Mustang is an over weight pig.

There is always a common theme when you read a road test on a Challenger. Everyone is always surprised at how well they handle considering the weight.
Let's get this straight.
4400+ pounds is a sow.
The challenger does not handle.
Dodges answer is to add hp to a fat car.
My F150 weighs less.

A Miata is a 4 cylinder car that's a compact. The mustang and challenger are "pony" cars. The challenger has become a hippo

Are you classifying the Challenger as a, land yacht?

There have been Challengers at the road course every time I've been there. They do ok. It's not like night and day difference versus a Mustang. I know the "in" thing is to act like Challengers are huge and can't turn a corner. I remember seeing a comparison where a GT PP was faster around a road course than a Hellcat. The Mustang probably is a little faster, but in the real world - not competition - on a fun day at the track, the Challenger drives just fine and does well making very decent lap times.

Of course it does. It's comes from the factory with a performance oriented suspension and tires.

In the real world the hellcat has 707hp vs a 435hp mustang. The mustang is faster on a road course. Hp doesn't always win the race.

It takes skill to whip around such a heavy car well... if someone can manage a good lap time in one, good for them.

Don't you dare stick up for anything that isn't Ford. You should know better...

Don't mention that a Ford GT was slower around VIR than a Camaro either...that might start a Civil War.
:ford:

I enjoy reading all this negativity about certain brands when I know all some are doing is regurgitating what they read in a magazine, HC is a barge, GTR is a video game, Viper is too uncomfortable, Corvetre is...hell, I don't remember why we don't like Corvettes....

When did Mustang owners start caring about turning? In 2015... Maybe a few years earlier?

Must be different where I'm from....I rarely see Mustangs at the roadcourse. Vettes, Vipers, Porsches, BMWs mostly. To say the Mustang has been a corner carver since 1965 is pretty funny, especially through the solid rear axle days.

At the drag strip, every other car is a Mustang.

Guess you never heard of a GT350 or BOSS302?
What do you think those are for 1/4 mile cars?
Seeing your signature says GT350R I'm disappointed that you lack the knowledge of the mustangs history.

I was bored...I thought it was obvious I was trolling.

(One of my friends has a Boss 302 LS and I've owned other Fords believe it or not) :)
