Hey guys! Anyone here running a bump steer kit and get any sort of squeaking noise ever? I’m assuming it’s because of the exposed metal ball joint, (a hiem joint?”) is that true? Is it normal?

Trying to diagnose a weird vibration in my gas pedal but seems like there is a squeak I’ve had for a while: it’s very faint and I can only hear it with the ac off and radio off.

You could try a suitable lubricant. Mine haven't been making noise, but I suppose they could.

Did your kid misplace their hamster recently?

squeak can be dried out spring rubbers.
make sure you got the length right. If it's too short the ball end of the long arm will be in distress.

Spring rubbers? Like shock/strut? My coilovers have like 40k miles on em. I’m sure there about to be needed to be replaced.

oh right, you've got the Fortune Auto. No spring rubber on those.

Lots of things articulate and rotate in suspension. Could be dried out bushing on the sway bar that is moving about.

With 40k miles I would replace a whole bunch of stuff.

Well the car has 55k miles. About 40k on the coilovers I’m assuming. (Previous owner put them on and I’ve driven the car 30k miles already.) everything in the front suspension has been replaced by me in the last two years besides the upper ball joints in the front.

The rear suspension is pretty much stock. Haven’t touched it
