Do all mustangs get the pony light dandruff problem eventually?

I was wondering how many people have had this issue and when it started happening, or did ford already fix the issue in the factory?

Don't know if they all get it but mine did and it was a lot more than dandruff, looked like an alien riding the horse. Very early after delivery, and drivers side only. Now 8 months in has not re-appeared so seems to be fixed and passenger side never had an issue. October 2015 build. 5 min fix at the dealer if they have the part.

1800 miles. Both of them have flakes.

Our drivers side has been replaced twice since Dec 15 and 8,000klm.
Passenger side still the original with no issues.
Current drivers side came from dealer principal's car - started flaking when we got home, now looks like bloated elephant.
Going to be an ongoing issue methinks..:frusty:

The original stencil is made of paper which overtime deteriorates and breaks apart and hence the little pieces. It is probably sped up with the drivers door being opened and closed alot more.

They replace the stencil with a plastic one which won't break down so once it's fixed, should be right forever

hopefully this means on the 17 models they just fitted a plastic stencil I have been watching mine and so far so good

No mine is fine no issues...

Passenger side started with a few flakes 3 months into ownership. 3 weeks after that, the whole top of the pony was white. It was replaced last week under warranty. Drivers side is fine. 6 months and 7000 Klm into ownership now.

Is this an Aussie thing only mine are fine, however I wish they sold something else to change it up a bit like a punisher skull or the shape of a glock.

So far world wide........ I believe at some stage it will happen, seems to affect only the drivers side but I think some have had both go :frusty:
