When do we get our Tamerlane Mustangs?

Well yesterday I decided to have a whinge to Ford Au about how long I have waited for my bloody Mustang and that it is not because it is RR in colour.
Well you have guessed. I, along with everyone else, has to wait a supposed 10 working days (two bloody weeks) for the cars to be processed in Melbourne. Then we have to wait for the next bloody truck/s to bring them to our dealers. This will take goodness knows how much time. Then they have to be prepared by our respective dealers. This last bit is the bit I have most faith in since I know the Dealer Principal personally, plus I think I am the only Mustang GT.
I can see this being four weeks at least. All I can do now is hope for a pleasant surprise. At least they are here in good old Australia.

I've asked my dealer for an estimate, haven't heard anything as yet. Where's your car going Ian? Are we to assume all cars go to dealers on trucks now rather than ships up the coast?

Thanks Ian, mines coming to Brisbane, hopefully being on truck makes it quicker. Not holding out hope though. Yes I also put the details into prixcar website and i'm not making much of it to be honest.

Mine went to Melbourne, then back to Brisbane on a boat. 10 days went by between arrival in Melbourne and final arrival in Brisbane. Then it was onto Prixcar....

Mine is on the next ship (SALOME)... but I've been told it's 3 weeks from docking in Melbourne to arrival at a Victorian dealer, and then they have to do their delivery tasks. So almost 4 weeks all up seems about correct.

Mine was close to 3 weeks so yeah the waiting doesn't stop. Also my dealer is the closest dealer to the docks

That is interesting...that they are again all going to Melbourne and being trucked up to Queensland. The ones on the Anaira were off the ship in Brisbane.

Mind you...the tracking on the WWL site changed a few times during the time it left Savannah to when it arrived in Australian waters - went from Melbourne, to Brisbane, to Melbourne and finally back at Brisbane again. Maybe yours will change too?
