Exactly the same with mine... Six months and 7200 Klm. Happened a few weeks ago. I rang 2 dealers but neither had heard about this occurring before on the Mustang, I assume because not many Australian cars have racked up that many Klms.
It was booked in to get the puddle lamp replaced, so...
Passenger side started with a few flakes 3 months into ownership. 3 weeks after that, the whole top of the pony was white. It was replaced last week under warranty. Drivers side is fine. 6 months and 7000 Klm into ownership now.
Emptied mine today by removing it and tipping oil out via the lower fitting.
I think as long as you take care removing the pop clips in the correct manner (by carefully pulling the central clip up... and not by prying the whole clip away the body of the separator), in my opinion this method...
Yes, happened to me a few weeks ago. It seemed like a system crash, not maintenance.

Really like mine. My favorite mod. Feels much better (grip and basic feel) IMO then the original wheel. It's not smaller. Wheel overall is obviously the same size (everything swaps over from the original wheel) and the grip points maybe slightly larger... but not by much.
I bought from CJ...
For those with FOXTEL, this pops up occasionally on the History channel.
Late notice... But it is on History channel at 5am Saturday 13th August 2016 (i.e. Tomorrow as I write this).
My Sync screen went blank for 5 minutes yesterday. Then I got a "Performing scheduled system maintenance" screen as below. After that, it took a few minutes to re-start and seems to be functioning normally. It has kept my custom wallpaper and settings.
Seems like I'm not the only one...
Mine (passenger side) went from a few minor specs to a giant blob of white light within the space of a few weeks. Unfortunately it happened after the 3K service. Driver's side is holding up ok.
Yes, I think that will be typical new car / break-in smell and nothing to worry about.
It should stop soon under normal driving, but expect it to re-occur anytime you "give it some stick" up until the 1,500-1,700 Klm mark.
Yes, mine is Opticoated, and everything that is applied seems to bead and flow off easily. But 1 full cap of Magifoam will have it covered fully, and I'd say that 75% remains on the car after a 10 minute soak.
This was just a light coat of foam, with photo taken 7-8 minutes after application.
Snap!
Haven't got out in the 'stang for awhile due to various reasons. Amazing how much road grime is there after one drive (plus 2 weeks of garage dust).
Ended the weekend with it's usual foam and wash. Stuff used...
