Pull down the rear headliner and you will see where the mic is plugged in.

Not without modifying the PCM/ACM.

It might serve two purposes: the active noise reduction and Bluetooth. Disconnect at your own risk ;)

The front Mic is for voice navigation and Bluetooth.

I unplugged mine as I was hearing too much engine noise or flywheel noise after upgrading to xtreme clutch/fly. Sounds fantastic now. I really enjoy being able to have conversations in the car with myself(I'm the only one that listens to me), and even sometimes my wife and kids. Really helped out with the sound quality as other posters have said.
