Just thought I'd drop a note here regarding a local DIY garage in Rhode Island that rents lift time for $20/hr (includes all tools).

I had been searching the New England area for a shop to rent lift time and stumbled upon these guys. Luckily, I live in RI and they're real close. Heading there this weekend for DS, loop and MGW install.

If you're like me and tired of laying on your back in your garage or driveway for some projects, look em up. I have ZERO affiliation with them. This weekend will be my first experience going there.

Thanks for this! After being in the military having a shop like this on nearly every base its a huge pain in the butt to do stuff in the driveway. I'll definitely go there if I need to, its about an hour drive but it beats laying in the driveway for a lot of things.

I've always wanted to open a shop like this if I had the money.

Update: The trip to gearhead systems on Sunday was quite simply, awesome. The owner Ron and his partner Gary are great guys, super friendly and helpful if you need anything. I brought all my own tools, but they have just about everything you could possibly need. I did end up needing some socket adapters for torquing and a tranny jack, and of course they had em. For $20/hr you can't beat it. There were a few other guys there working on their cars, all were cool. It was a good day of wrenching! Highly recommend!!

There's a few other shops that are closer to you that do the same thing, forget the name but available in Mass.
