WATCH & ENJOY!
To me it looks like the guy is being reckless, I don't see other drivers behaving the same.
Let's say I was expecting this:

Driving like that here would have dents all over your car and probably end up in jail
This is a normal day here! 😂😂😂

Im an old school i dont want the machine to take control i want to be the only one who decide to brake or not here in my country when changing lanes the stupid feature brake automatically which can cause an accident.
i hope you got the idea.

The computer will react 100 times faster than a human.

I just like the aids to de-stress busy urban with bicycles, jaywalkers, ship and Uber 4th world drivers plus scenic highway drives. Plus it logs in the black box if ever needed.

There's a reason computers fly aircraft now doing landing and take offs and manage space flight.

We have 100X more computing power in our cars than space shuttle.

If they had full proven auto pilot on 2025 Mustang I would buy!

Anlot of people love them if they're in freeway congestion. Thankfully I'm not.

The style of driving here in my country requires me to disable it.
Just set it to shortest distance....and relax. If any idiot cuts in car will / should auto brake. It's all about TRUST. I've never had a failure in any car with it.

Assuming yer not some of gen Z'er ... how you manage BEFORE all these drivers aids ?
If yer relying on these things in your daily commute, maybe you shouldn't be driving.

No I grew up in the country driving at 14 yr old, 1970 pick ups, modded mustangs and capris with built 302-429 120 mph on gravel roads in a constant state of float and catching air over Rail Road tracks.

Often 7 hr 130-160 MPH 7 hrs remote road trips with lots of wild life. Extensive Autobahn as well.

Some tech is useless other tech is priceless, like these driver aids.

To each their own. Depends on the environment you drive in. I'm in heavy low speed dense population urban and remote hwy with tourists and wildlife.

De-stressing this environment is great.

I also have two dash cams and will upgrade to new 360 ones specifically for idiot cyclists and bikers who don't follow rules.

As it is I don't miss the driver aids too much. ...nice to have though. I did have to train myself to trust them with foot over brake pedal when using, for a couple weeks.

My cams will show I follow the rules and I don't go over 140 for very long, just in case a deer, bear or moose pops out.

It's all about TRUST
That the sensors are working. That the algorithm is "seeing" and predicting correctly as well.

Heck billions are being thrown at ML and LLM and yet the computer reluably generates utter garbage.

I've had the sensor flash a warning when it's was completely unnecessary and routinely fail to alert when it should have.

Driving is a mentally active sport. Sure, you might get lucky and the computer may save your ass. But it's way better to be in the constant ooda loop and engaged. It should be a race to see who is faster at recognizing a developing situation, making the right prediction and then taking appropriate remediation.

Unfortunately at that time the only way to get a Grabber Blue color is to get the California Special Package so i had to buy it.
Huh ? I ordered my 2017 in GB. No need to get the CS option.

Yes they do - to their programmed response loop, outside that they are significantly lower performance to a trained person.

They only do certain landings with specific limits, Takeoffs are still manually controlled.

You are comparing apples and oranges. The shuttle was a 1970s era project even with the modernization that happened replaced the 5 IBM AP-101B's with iron core memory to modernized AP-101S's with semiconductor memory, but the computer architecture was generally unchanged - integrated computers are chosen for reliability and enough excess capacity to cover projected changes being developed or foreseen to be installed.- the computers need to be hardened their failure modes and errata need to be well understood because its mission critical - and if its flight control common practice is to have multiple installed. Anymore capacity is wasted weight and power budget.

Cars don't care nearly as much about every kilogram and in most respects flight and spaceflight is much simpler dynamic environment than driving on the roads you have a single computer trying to fill in multiple roles and at the end of the day it isn't autonomous, if your car gets in a crash ultimate responsibility falls to the driver.

I personally disabled the warning and brake function; since its an annoyance during driving especially since the car can accelerate quickly and the sensitivity window grows during acceleration. I would get distractive warnings while matching cars speeds on very tight cloverleafs - making the warning to me a greater danger in the city I drive than it benefits me.

Most of the added safety functions that ford by default included in all cars in the later model years I find have a distractive or deleterious effect to awareness.
The blindspot warning lights for myself reduces safety - the light gives me far less information at a glance than the spotter mirrors on my 2017 did; the only function that is installed on my 23 versus my base 17 that has had an actual safety improvement is the cross traffic warning during reversing - and even that has given me false indications.
