Has anyone ordered the quick splice resistors yet? If so where did you mount them?

I just ordered a bunch of stuff from DD. Great customer service btw. Hopefully the plug and play resistors come in soon. Thanks in advance.

We will be posting an update about Plug and Play resistor harnesses soon! Still don't have an exact ETA, but it's in progress.

You can mount the universal resistors anywhere as long as you keep them away from soft plastic, rubber etc...

They will get hot when the turn signal is in use (creating electrical resistance = heat)

If you have any questions about which wires to tap, feel free to email us: [email protected]

Thanks for your support!

Is there an email going out when the plug n play is ready? I'm waiting to install my switchbacks until this comes out so I don't have to tap any wires.

+1 been waiting on the resistors to do this mod too. Rather do the install once versus switchbacks now to pull it apart later to add the resistors.

I honestly don't understand why everyone is waiting for the resistors. To me the "galloping" sound of the blinker indicator is almost as much a reason to upgrade to the switchbacks then the lighting itself. Any other car yeah it would be pointless, but mustang and galloping go together hand in hand.

Maybe some people don't like it? Haha

Nick,

I just emailed your customer support regarding the installation of the universal resistor kit you sell, but they were not able to help. I just received the unit, but need to clarify which wires to tap.

Wire colors for 2015 Mustang turn signals are:

DRIVER: Black, Blue
PASS: Black, Yellow

Thanks!

Thanks Nick!

The rapid turn signal noise was driving me crazy, this is a must do if you install the switchbacks!

Not really on the 2015+ Mustangs, but everyone has different tastes and preferences

The good thing is that it doesn't hyperflash on the exterior. That's a rare occurrence

Anyways, glad we could be of assistance :D
