I have a 2017 mustang gt premium manual. I’m planning on wiring up the digital dash to my car, I know it’s not a direct swap, I work at a shop so I get a discount on parts but they need the vin from a mustang that came with it, has to be a manual. Would anyone be willing to send me their vin that came with it? You can dm it to me privately if you prefer.

Just hit up autotrader and grab a Vin from there.

You don't need a VIN from someone else's car. Call Tom with Hextall he will set you up and he actually worked for Ford on the S550 and the S650.

Do this first. I'm pretty sure Tom can take any digital cluster and flash the firmware. Also ask him if he can set the odometer to match yours.

Once he programs the digital cluster, you can't drive the car as the mileage will be set. I just inquired to Tom about doing this as I may not get a S650 now, and I am considering doing this for my 2020 Mustang GT. I would have ordered it, but I am considering a new BMW M2.

You can always raise the mileage yourself with forscan.

Forscan doesn't set the mileage completely correct. Its off by .5 miles...according to Tom. Don't know the consequences of that. Did you add the digital cluster yourself?
