Hello, can anybody help me identify where that piece could be from? I have successfuly swapped my analogue cluster for digital one but my ocd drive me crazy. After reinstallation I found one piece that I don't really know where it came from. There's no part number on it, just number '2' from inside. It has two clips and the upper part is textured and the front is smooth. I'll post some photos, Thanks!

I see two levers and two clips.

The blank appears to be a facade piece, a void filler or access port.

Is there a section on the face, side or underside of the dashboard with a void?

Maybe with the size and shape of the new cluster, the old blank is not needed?

I have checked dashboard for any voids but everything is nicely assembled everywhere, you might be right that it might be related to old cluster since it kind of has its shape and that might be why I found this piece after assembly 🤷‍♂️

I'm confident it's an external piece, something seen from the outside. I'd keep it with the old cluster.

Enjoy the new dash.

That looks fantastic in purple! I really want this but the cost just seems not worth it to me. How long did it take you to install it?

Not that long really, for me it took few hours but I'm not experienced with that stuff. Process is easier if you have 2018+ (no cutting required). Just make sure you get the right tools to disassemble/assemble all the parts. The second part might be tricky but there's lot of guides and explanations on the programming part. Basically you need to program IPC and SCCM modules to match features of your car. There are also differences between GT and EcoBoost programming and so on.. I've spent lot of time on preparation of programming files for my 2017 as I had to disable lot of systems to make it error free/not throw DTCs.

Facebook usually has the deals. Most of the swaps are 1200-1500. Sometimes you can find them cheaper. There is a small section of the dash that needs to be trimmed. And then some programming.
