I know that it’s come up 1 million times on here but I can’t stand the black wheels. I’m older so I’m old-school and I need something different in my life. I usually change the wheels out immediately but I’ve waited on the Mach until now. Pictures coming soon.
Agreed! The black wheels suck as much as the new Muted colors that are being shoved down our throats. The EV's are not fairing much better and the companies are distancing themselves from that debacle. In the auto industry there is a seat for every ass. Pick and choose it's your decision.
I am Old School at 82 but still cling to the Mag wheel options that were popular in the late 60's and 70's. Chrome wheels not so much but machined aluminum or subdued colors get the nod from me. Example my 2024 GT Premium. Before and after.

Looks like the sun shone a little brighter in appreciation for the new wheels too. That colour makes it look like a mirror. Very nice pics.

I appreciate that my man, thank you. I have since added the stock Pony caps to the wheels by cutting the top with the pony off the original caps and plastic welding them to the new wheel caps

I have had my Work CR2P for 3 years, almost 4 years and have another set of Work wheels on order. My dream wheel being a Work Meister S1 3P. I originally wanted to go this wheel but was anxious and inexperienced at the time to measure for brake clearances and also the wheel can't run a TPMS sensor, so I went with another wheel.

But this time around I put my big boy pants on, measured the brakes and also went with a really aggressive offset. I have just accepted that the TPMS light will be on (until I get it tuned).

Wheels can change the entire personality of a car visually (and I will be going sticker tires, AD09's) and performance wise.

I would only change up to go with something dramatically different. Current wheels are Glim Silver centers with anodized polished lips. New wheels will be gloss black lips, burning black center disks (kind of like a black chrome), with chrome rivets.

I bought my car new in Nov '15 as a '16 model and have a total of 6 aftermarket sets of wheels on this car.

And yes I'm still married lol.
6 sets is a lot of wheels! do you sell them or keep them all and swap back and forth?

No, but I still have had 4 sets at once because they get used for track and autocross tires.

One set street, two sets autocross (the good set and the practice set) and one set for HPDE.

so the car changes appearance often enough I’m still not bored with my street Projext6gr sevens after 8 years.

just sold a set so I’m down to a very reasonable 3 sets now lol

some I’ve sold, some I’ve given away. It all depends on the wear on them. I’ve typically always had a track set and a street set.

Much like anything else, track wheels are a consumable. Brake dust eats the finish and is easily seen on light finish wheels. They also bend after hard use, even forged wheels.
