So my question is, what makes the 2steps sound so different,I dont mean the exhaust tone, but one cuts off rapidly and the other sounds like it has a longer timing between spark cut off

Watch these two videos

No idea why they sound so different, but this is what mine sounds like at 3300rpms, stock exhaust manifolds and a Kooks catback, MSD 2Step.

The good news is that they work, even if you don't figure out why they sound different, best $250 mod ever.

I believe the msd rotates the firing of the coils vs the wot box is cutting signal to all the coils at once. Both work well but one sounds a little smoother than the other.

Can more post videos and tell us their setup and see what makes em sound so differently?Im just curious but I like how it sounds when it cuts off rapidly and wondering if its in the setting itself or just the way a Wot N2mb vs msd 2step work

pretty sure the higher the RPM, the more pop-faster bouncing off the limiter. I have the WOT box, once i finish install ill post a vid.

Thats what I was thinking to, but burnin4 posted a video at 3300rpm and it sounds like it cuts off rapidly to so thats where Im wondering what the difference is really. Do you have a manual? Definitely let me know how it goes.

When are you planning on installing it?

Excuse my ignorance, but what is the benefit of using a two step over the car's built in launch control? Building boost?

If it's for building boost and launching, then why do some NA cars use it? Also, is it beneficial to belt driven force inducted cars?

For me, the advantage is higher limit and WOT shifting. NA with slicks i was launching @ 5500RPM. Stock wont go that high.

v8ter, thanks hope to finish my Whipple and get my WOT box installed this weekend.

More RPM range adjustment and you can only use LC with TC on.
