Leave those alone. The filter deadens the noise coming from the BOV. I have a bullet valve which is even louder than the stock butterfly valve. So you remove the filter from the bpv? What about the hoses on the intake pipe?
PC directly. Thought it was part of the surge problem. It wasn't.Nice. Where did you buy the bullet valve?
Does surge describe a problem with the blow off valve or a sound it makes? Sorry if naive, had to ask. ThanksPC directly. Thought it was part of the surge problem. It wasn't.
Surging is drivability problem and it ended up being the tune in our case. Not the BOV.Does surge describe a problem with the blow off valve or a sound it makes? Sorry if naive, had to ask. Thanks
Thanks for the reply. Wondering if that would describe my problem. Sometimes the rpms climb and kind of want to push the car. Also when pushing in the clutch driving through the neighborhood the rpms go up and hang before the next shift pulls them down. Does that sound like a "surge"? Did yours do that.Surging is drivability problem and it ended up being the tune in our case. Not the BOV.
Rev hang is in the tune typically, though it seems to be pretty common. Thanks for the reply. Wondering if that would describe my problem. Sometimes the rpms climb and kind of want to push the car.
