The sizes and wall thickness of the sway bars are in the GT350 owners manual supplement.
Hopefully someone can post them up. :)

Brilliant post! :)

Notice the GT350 has Tubular sway bars, does anyone know the size of them? Maybe they are the sway bars from the FRPP handling kit but not sure as they might be solid bars, but unconfirmed.
That would be nice to know. My GTPP is getting trickled with various GT350 light weighted and atheistic components if they offer performance advantages.

Depending on the weight and cost in comparison to aftermarket solutions it may get added to the list.

Front stabilizer bar
GT350 & R
34mm DIA x 5.7mm wall (1.34 x 0.22 in)

Rear stabilizer bar
GT350
22.2mm DIA x 3.9mm wall (0.87 x 0.15 in)
GT350R
22.2mm DIA x 3.9mm wall (0.87 x 0.15 in )
with 8mm (0.31 in) shorter arms than GT350

I think I mentioned in other posts I first thought the shorter "arms" were levers and thus made the rear bar act stiffer. But, from the parts blow-up pictures, I think they are just end links and MAYBE the R springs are slightly shorter. There were three spring sets listed for GT350 variants. One monotube/base, two Magnaride.

This is correct. It's simple physics. A shorter arm means less flex. It's like taking a tape measure and extending it 6" out. Then extend it 18". The give it will have is very clear.

You can buy these now? If so do you have a link?

Ford confirmed to me the FRPP handling package for the GT PP has a hollow/tubular front sway bar and the rear sway bar is solid. :)

Yes, but I think my first assumption was likely wrong, the sway bars do not look like hollow straight bars with levers on the end, they are contoured bars (if the drawings can be trusted). The end links are just that, links. On the "R" they are shorter, possibly because the springs are lower, so to keep the bar at the same angel to the chassis, the links are shorter.

There was a thread I was involved with where we were all guessing what "HD Springs" meant for Tech/Track cars vs "R". Still don't know for sure, but FordParts.com lists two different springs sets for the Magnaride equipped cars. So, R's might have different springs from the Tech and TrackPack cars. The only reason I can think of the the R links are shorter is that the car sits slightly lower.

The confusing part for the spring rate is the owners supplement only gives two different spring rates for the front: R and non-R while the parts website shows three different spring types: Base(no Magnaride) and two Magnaride. All the Magnaride cars in sales literature show "HD Front Springs" as part of the package.

Time will tell.

This thread is a bit outdated. But as far as the chassis from the gt to gt350 is front fender flares, front bumper and hood? As for the rear it’s just valence? But the base between the two are the same stamp?
