No one is expecting hellcat speeds. Just good decent numbers and not acceleration speeds of a base Camaro SS while making more HP and paying a $20-30k premium over it. You can say your fast on the track, but most of the time your on the street unless your using as a dedicated track car.

I love the car and have it ordered but I don't plan on leaving it stock.
And who's actually PAYING $20 - 30K over...not listing over $20 - 30K but someone who's actually shelling out another Ford Focus worth's money to get into a 350? Please name ONE. Plop the paperwork screenshot/pic in front of my face and I'll concede.

Slow down.. The reference was comparing Camaro pricing to gt350 pricing.

Do you not stop and turn on the street? Perhaps take it out to a curvy mountain or country road once and awhile? Yes you will need a track to fully exploit its abilities, but that isnt to say that its handling characteristics can't be evaluated outside of that environment.

You will never see this cars true capabilities on a street unless your trying to avoid an accident then you'll have good stopping power. That's why for street driving you at least want good straight line acceleration.

True capabilities, fully agree,especially within the limits of the law, but you can still tell even at lower speeds how a car is composed compared to others out there.

For street driving, if you exploit its full straight line abilities, you are essentially breaking the law 99 times out of 100.

That's a ton of money for a camaro. But the performance looks good.

But I thought the 5.0 GT engine rev limit was 7400rpm, not 6500rpm?

Also GT350 has tubular sway bars, these offer great weight savings over solid bars. Is anyone doing tubular sway bars for the GT yet?
