I have the Ford Performance/Borla Touring and I added the Borla resonator and catless long tubes. Perfect at cruising, but loud if you really get on it.
I think I figured it out. Looks like they have an updated set of instructions that moved the ground. Getting 17.5ish volts now. I’ll see what Lund says about the new log.
I just installed a Procharger and when Lund looked at the logs, they suspected the fuel pump booster to be bad. I tested the power to it and regardless of pedal position it reads a steady 14ish volts. At WOT or idle, the voltage is the same. Does this sound like it is bad right out of the box?
TSP headers, borla resonator and Ford racing touring car back. I’m undecided on the sound now. The x pipe and the cat back sounded perfect before, I’m hoping the resonator will break in and get a little louder. I only drove it about 10 miles, but the low end and mid range seems a little...
Texas speed long tubes are in. That was a nightmare doing it by myself on jack stands. Probably took 10 hours, but I saved money for that Procharger. I also put the borla resonator on, because I’m old and don’t want police attention.
Sweet. I’m going to start it up tomorrow and keep an eye on oil pressure and hope it doesn’t have to come out. The only part that really worried me is the part circled in red. Kinda looks like a crease, possibly from the oil pump pickup?
While doing my headers, I was jacking on the oil pan with a 2x4, and the wood just barley caught the frame. I unknowingly kept jacking and then it slipped out from under the frame and the motor jumped. Now I have a dent, and I’m wondering how bad it is? Does it look like it will contact the...
I have the FRPP Touring Cat back and will be installing cat less long tubes next week. I’m super happy with the current sound and volume level, and don’t want it to be obnoxious with the headers. My question is if the Borla Resonator 60561 will fit my cat back in place of the X-pipe.
