Ahh I figured it out now. The base is all one piece and I think the premium has the one piece with the removeable /replaceable piece. The premium has that diaper/or tampon in the center me and my friends make fun of lol but I do like the premium better with the plastic aero. If I had a brighter color I would definitely wrap or paint that center section on the bumper.

I hate having painted panels on any of my cars, I don't have faith in any dealer either to paint match colors let alone guard which I think will be a pita. I'll leave it as is and just go with a round corsa

For me, I like the shape of the three-piece, and the contrast of the black, but the extra piece of white hanging down is not my favorite. It am tempted to Plasti-Dip that part black. Anybody done that yet?
That's another thing I have to do. I don't like the look of the orange showing under the rear valence and it should be all black. I have experience on dipping bumpers and this one shouldn't be too hard(but a bit tedious getting under there) judging by the separation.

Same Rear Bumper?

Tasca lists the same rear bumper (FR3Z17K835BA) for the base GT AND the Premium GT:

The pages look the same, but the URLs are different. Also checked LevittownFordSuperCenter and OEMfordparts.com - both show the same P/N for both the GT and the Premium GT. You can also try the long way by clicking down through the menus on any of these sites for the base GT and then repeat for the Premium GT. Clicking on the bumper P/N brings up a new page... showing it fits GT, Premium GT and 50th Anniversary.

Difference seems to be the addition of the valance (Part #5 - FR3Z-17F828-A) for a Premium GT in the exploded view. I'm not sure if this is correct, or a part number mistake on the part of FoMoCo that's filtered down through the OEM channel. Benny at LevittownFordSupercenter should be able to answer that question for anybody wanting to "upgrade" to a Premium rear panel.

I've got a '16 base, and it's all one piece for sure. And yes, it's all one color... I like it that way. Can't comment on the separate valance on the Premium or how it's actually fastened to the rear bumper.

That is all...

There is a difference. Look above at the link I posted from the Levittown Ford thread. Post #89 in that thread has the links for the Premium bumpers
