lol since when did this thread turn into a bunch of base models justifying their shite interior. This is 2015, your interior looks like it's 2005. Gotta get that v8 or it'll question your 'manhood' right?
You do realize there is such a thing as a base option v8?

I'd like to point out, the interior is the same, minus the center stack. Changing 20% of it, doesn't change it from shit to amazing.

The base is perfectly fine, the premium is better, but they're both still leagues below an actual GOOD interior.

Perspective, people, get some.

The only people trying to justify anything are you and Ecoswag.

The base model is very similar to Premium. If you come from a German luxury car you might actually pick a Base over a Premium mainly because the Premium isn't that good, sorry, it's nice but nothing to write home about. You can buy a $15,000 BMW from 2000 that has a much nicer interior than the S550 (build quality/materials rather than layout which is a preference). It makes your "Premium" interior seem like a bad knock off.

But for the price, I think the Premium and Base interiors are fantastic. I think everyone agrees the base radio could use some revision. However, I find it easier to use when driving fast than the premium touchscreen. I think Ford did a great job at both price points and would be satisfied with either. Great Value.

Any word if there will be a double din kit available for base model? I just ordered my base 16 GT PP but only thing I'd like to change eventually is add an aftermarket nav/radio. Never like oem ones.

People need to learn how to eat pie. Another thread about penis size. What a shock. Next up: peoples' value are derived solely by what they drive. Great. So many great character traits on here. It's not like society over emphasizes sex or anything. Makes me tired.

I actually really liked the cloth seats. Mustang definitely won't be my daily driver so didn't care about heated or cooled seats. Only thing I would have liked would be the touch screen/nav and garage door home link. Eventually I would think an aftermarket double din kit will come out and I will be set. If leather seats are a deal breaker on ebay there are new car take off leather seat covers for $575 shipped brand new.

I didn't read through all of this but it seems to be a pissing match. A lot of folks go with the base because it's cheaper, but I'm sure some actually like it better....I ordered my car as a base with recaros. I do like the center stack of the premium model but didn't want all the other gimmicky stuff. Pony projection lights, multi color interior lighting.....not my thing. My wife's focus titanium has all that stuff and it is nice in that car but seems gimmicky to me in a mustang. I wanted a base interior. If ford still offered manual windows and locks I would have gotten that, too. But hey....guess what...if you like the premium model better I'm happy for you. Just don't hate on people with a base car. Some of us prefer them that way.

I've gone from base model to 201a, both interiors are nice. But since were talking about valences and not models (it shows all of the intermodel bashing that went on a year ago is still very much alive) I like the premium valence. It has some much needed depth and scale as opposed to the base, which is a shameless, bulbous, one piece rental car bumper that reminds me too much of a base Camaro.

When I had my base, a premium bumper purchase was in my plans.
