A few weeks ago I bought my Mustang from a dealer in my city. They didn't have one equipped the way I wanted it but they were able to find one 2 hours away. I did all the paperwork and picked the car up later that night. The next day when I got to see the car in the light I was pretty upset with what I saw.
Two dents in the back of the hood under the paint on the drivers side:

Bumper and hood not aligned:

Driver door way out of whack with the bumper. There's also visible paint wear on the door but I couldn't get a great picture:

Trunk lid not flush:

There's also runs in the paint on the driver's side fender that I couldn't get a great shot of.
I took it into the dealer who got approval to fix the hood. However, when the paint guy looked at my hood, he found that the crimp around the edges was all wavy and ordered a new hood. When the new hood came in it looked like the crimp was done with a ball peen hammer! In addition, I was told there was nothing they could do about the door or bumper. At this point I am pretty honked off at Ford. It is beyond my comprehension how a $30k+ car could leave the factory looking like this.
The dealer is waiting on a new hood to call me back. I am not buying the panel alignment answer and need to escalate this somehow. Are there any factory reps on the board that deal with these situations?
