Looks great man. I REALLY want to like this color, and I do in direct sunlight, but the shots I've seen in overcast weather contains too much purple for my liking.

Yes the darker the enviroment, the more purple will bleed out.

I rather like the effect, as the other car I was looking at was a Plumb Crazy SRT8 Challenger

Yes, I have the GT Rocker Panel stripes as well. I think it completes the look.

I noticed this also when I was checking them out at the dealership. It's such a gorgeous color in bright conditions. Is this because of some color variation within the paint/metal flake?
Owning this color living where I do I would have a purple car more often than not.:(
l already own a car that changes b/t black and black cherry.

Ive also noticed this. Wished this blue was more like the BMW Estoril Blue Metallic or even Imperial Blue Metallic or maybe the M4 color of Yas Marina Blue Metallic or the Tanzanite Blue Metallic . It would be F'n fantastic if they brought back Bright Atlantic Blue! Had a 98 Cobra that wore that particular hue of Blue, and good god I loved that color.
