Order date of 12/1 - COTUS just updated with my EDD as 2/6

Got VIN and showed up in COTUS around 12/8/14
Scheduled build date quoted by sales of 1/19/15 but blend date on window sticker (showed up on 1/12/15) shows Jan 20th.
EDD of Feb 8th

My car has a 1/26/2015 build date and is expected to be delivered 2/15/2015. So I'd imagine around 20 days is the average.

My order date was 1/10/15 on COTUS. I have a VIN but the bar is only halfway through "in order processing" and I have no build date which I guess is good as I'm hoping I'll get the car in early April

Finally Trackable

Got my Vin # a few weeks ago, and now I can finally track it on COTUS as of 1/12/15. Still in "order processing". Dealer told me my build date is 2/2/15. Hoping they move that date up, but doesn't look like they will.

What date was your order placed. I was late to learning about Cotus. Cotus for me also does not show est build date/week. I sent an email to my salesman last night.

Anyone know how much sooner the dealer can see our est. build date before it hits Cotus? Or more directly, on average, how long after order for Ford to choose a build date/week?

Davekro, I placed the order on 12/17. Didn't find out I even had a VIN till I called the dealer a couple weeks later. Then...It didn't come up on COTUS till last week. I also only found out the "build" date from the dealer too. still doesn't give me build info on COTUS.

VERY GOOD TO KNOW! I'll stop looking at Cotus for that info and just wait to hear back from the dealer.

I wonder if looking up a customer's order is super easy and quick for anyone in the sales dept to look up your VIN? Or is it best to just be patient and wait a day (or two) to hear back from an email inquiry to my salesman?

Photographic memory???

I cant wait for someone at the dealer, or dept. of motor vehicles to ask for my VIN# for the new Mustang, so I can impress them by "rattling" it off right off the top of my head...HA. They will think I do have a photographic memory I bet.
Comes from looking up COTUS so much. I bet lots of us here can do that huh?

I ordered Thursday the 15th after 7:00pm so I guess my order won't get sent to Ford untill the 22. I was told 6 to 8 weeks but I'm hoping 8 weeks so the road salt will be hopefully gone.
