I'll go nuts if it is delayed until next year. I have even been considering buying a Fiesta ST in the meantime. Not sure why, other than the car is awesome and I need something to hold me over!

Being that nobody else has confirmed this so far, it's looking to be untrue. Unless maybe 1) it was for my dealer/area only (Pacific northwest) or 2) it was an estimate for when cars will be available in the showroom?

If it was a lie, then I'm pretty upset about that.

If you look on the Ford website it says "available Late 2014". I believe it used to say fall. Also many other vehicles on there say available spring/summer/fall etc so not looking good.

Just a reminder that Fall also runs to December 21st or thereabouts.;)

I'm guessing they will hit lots in late October. That is Fall and late 2014 at the same time.

I was talking to a dealer today about the 2015 and he told me that they just found out that deliveries have been delayed until January, according to a new Ford fleet bulletin they got this week. I was expressing slight interest in getting a 2014 instead, so it could be that he was just making it up to sway my decision.

But if this is true, then that really sucks (for some of us at least). Anyone else hear this or have another source?
Not true.

I seem to remember it has said "Late 2014" for a long time (since the reveal).

From a Ford Service Representative I contacted about the dealers claim…

I have not heard such thing, (name removed). I believe they’ll start hitting the dealers around fall. Have a good one!

Whew glad we have some insiders on here to help clear up some misinformation too. If we need more 'proof' I asked on Blue Oval and got this response:

"There have been no bulletins or notices posted yet regarding any delays for the 2015 Mustang. As of Saturday's FDNB (Fleet Distribution News Bulletin) the 2014/2015 MY Mustang changeover schedule remains as originally posted."
