I'm a current 370Z owner, and I'm looking forward to the S550.
The Z is an excellent sports car. But I'm looking into getting back into a sports coupe.
As a performance vehicle, the Z has a relatively low weight, a tiny wheel base, a very sophisticated double wishbone front suspension and...
Friend of mine with a 2013 has a glass roof. It's supposedly a lighter option than the regular roof. Adds head room too.
I absolutely love the glass roof. Having never had one, I could do without it. But if I had one, it'd be tough to downgrade.
Mustangs have always depreciated exceptionally poorly. If re-sale is a concern, either don't buy one or buy a Mustang used. Even my grandfather knows about horrendous depreciation.
Ford would be silly to introduce it at launch, rather than at the "refresh" / mid-model change, when sales start to slump.
Sales will be so strong at launch they won't a new engine to carry it. They'll bring a new engine in 3 years or so.
I've seen used 5.0s with reasonable miles going for 20k these days. Mustang depreciation is historically horrendous - like among the worst you can find. And it's because they sell so many that the used car market gets flooded with them.
If you're looking to save a few grand, wait a year after...
The DIB one I saw could be pretty purple from the right angles. It enhanced the depth of the paint very well. Usually you'll see two or three different color flecks in a pearl paint job.
Honda's Nighthawk Black Metallic paint has blue and gold in it. Nissan's Pearl White blue and pink in...
They're probably delaying them for that purpose. They want to get every single 2014 off the lot and gone so there are no Mustangs in showrooms when these babies arrive. It'll ensure they maximize transaction return on the 2014s, and it'll create some false demand for the 2015s.
January is a...
I'm 6'2'' and I've been in a 2014 with the Recaros.
They're firm, supportive, and pretty good as racing seats. As daily beater seats there's a chance they could be too hard.
The stitching and craftsmanship on them was absolutely immaculate tbh. They were super well made.
It's what everybody does and has been doing for decades. GM, Dodge, Acura, BMW, Audi , Mercedes-Benz, Mazda, even Hyundai. They have the same designers make the same cars, and they instruct them to make the cars all look similar to create a steady brand image or "corporate grill" so the average...
I feel underwhelmed too, but I still like it. The S197 was a more dramatic and exciting change from its predecessor.
Can't wait to see what the other colors look like.
I was thinking more along the lines of they were interpreting similar market data that led them down the same paths. End result is other brands had a similar product earlier, copying or not.
The BRZ was on dealership lots in 2011... You think it took Ford over 2 years to design the interior knobs of a car that hasn't even made it to assembly line production?
I will say this, the knobs in the BRZ are total junk. They don't toggle up and down. Just down. And they're plastic and...
