I think it's a Chupacabra or a Griffin.

Or something.

What's with the weird over-sized openings in the bumper around the exhaust?

French auto designers always put a few bizarre styling elements into their creations to ruin them. Case in point: The geometry of the two-tone paint scheme.

Might have looked cool if the paint continued up over the windows and back down the A-pillar. Basically making that entire body panel red. The roof would still be bare.

As it stands now, it's interesting, but also looks unfinished.

Peugot has been doing that 'stang look for a while now - I think they even have "gills" up front (though as dlrs in the lower bumper)

It's a lion in a heraldic pose, like what you would see on a coat of arms.

If you want to get technical, it's a lion salient, facing dexter.

Wow. Talk about the law propinquity.

I was driving home late last night and as I did so I got to wondering how many make/models of cars could be IDed just by their tail lights. Everyone knows the Mustang Tri-bar, and the 2015 will probably be the most well-defined tri-bar since the original. Most of the cars I saw were just blobs, trapezoids, or funky wraps; very little that just screamed the name of the car. That led me to wondering: if the tri-bar is a signature feature of the Mustang, does Ford have it trademarked? Even if they did, could they enforce it? What if some other manufacture decided to throw a very similar or exact replica of the tri-bar up?

And then,… this shows up.

Well, at least we can be sure there won't be very many of these on the streets to confuse matters.

Wonder if Ford is going to call them up and "suggest" that they change their tail-lights.

There's a few 508 coupes/sedans running around town... the lights look kind 'stangy from the rear, the turn indicators are the proper amber inbetween the red bars - and I'm guessing there's some white reversing lights aswell..

Front tri-gills...

Rear tri-leds...

I've only ever seen it straight ahead or from behind so I wasn't aware that the red plastic wraps to the side - in the dark that doesn't matter though... :)
