Rampant is that all your own?
It's so sleek!
Yeah. I started with the basic silhouette of the Mustang and added some lines from the MKC over the wheel wells and went from there.

Obviously, this won't happen... but I really think it would be nice to see.

You're going to need a mini bow wave grill on that.
I am not 100% sure what a mini bow wave grille is, but I generally don't like Lincolns grilles recently -- at least not for sporty cars -- so I was trying to do something different but still Lincoln-esque.

This is the MKC bow wave grill.

I think we all know that Ford/Lincoln is determined to keep the family DNA going in all it's products making them immediately recognizable like all the German brands.

Could someone with a lot more artistic talent than myself make this into a sexy front end to give Lincoln some ideas for a hot rear drive coupe?

I would start by taking out the two top ribs.

This is one of my favorite renders of what it could look like. I think its based off the S197 but still nice.

Yeah, if they ever do it, that would be probably more like what it would end up like. But, that is just putting the MXC front on -- I wanted to try and design something different. I was just doing this for fun and to see if there was a way to make the Lincoln grille recognizable, but more sleek, modern and sporty.

Lincoln really needs something like this, Caddi has been kicking their ass for years now and Lincoln has nothing that even remotely competes with the V series Cadillacs.

It also looks good as a sedan:
Nice render, but it's a Mustang you've created, not a Lincoln. It has to have the Lincoln signatures.
But, yes, it should have the updated 3.5 EcoBoost. Of which there are some updates coming to.

Had a Mk VIII years ago....loved it. Haven't seen anything like it since from Lincoln. Just luxo-front drive midsize clones from the Ford stable and trucks.

Rampant I really liked the side lines, that's what I love about the MkC. If I was any good at photoshop I would try putting a more "copy paste" MkC like front on the render. To me, the headlight shape you chose looks too much like the Dodge Dart's headlight shape.

Nonetheless, I totally agree, Lincoln needs to start tinkering with the S550 platform ASAP if they already haven't. :headbonk:
