Had a Thunderbird years ago, loved it. Would you not consider the Mark anything more than a rear wheel drive clone from the ford stable?Had a Mk VIII years ago....loved it. Haven't seen anything like it since from Lincoln. Just luxo-front drive midsize clones from the Ford stable and trucks.
Combination of some business realities and common sense. Lincoln needs a competitive luxury sports coupe the likes of the Caddy CTS-V coupe. It needs it badly. That's the common sense part. The business reality is that platform sharing is the way forward and the S550 is the most obvious choice.I have to ask where did the Lincoln S550-based coupe rumors start? I've not heard anything at all about it other than forum chatter.
I would trade in my 2013 MKS 3.5eb the day that hits the dealer!I would buy that.
Never factory no, when Ford pushed for the tbird to recieve it they killed the whole MN12 chassis. Also, the Bird never had the 4 cam engine.
