Way to go! I got snipped in 2005 and got a supercharger in 2008 for my '07 GT. Took a couple years to save up the money. My wife and I already had 2 kids (1 each from prior marriages) and we were at an age where raising more kids wasn't appealing, so it was a win-win.

Mr Monte is right about who should get fixed. I spent a few days with a bag of frozen peas and only missed two days of work, no issues since. My ex had her tubes tied shortly after my daughter was born and has had plenty of issues since and ended up getting a hysterectomy. So much easier for us guys to do the right thing.

The pain and discomfort is minimal (and you don't gain weight and just wanna loaf around the house like a Male cat who just got his nutz clipped) but I think you're selling yourself a bit short...I'd also hold out for those new custom wheels, tires, and that new complete Eibach Sport suspension system you're gonna need with all that SC power! Think of it this way...you'll now be like a Sunkist Orange (all juice and no seeds)!

As long as YOUR ok with it deep down inside. I wouldnt be but thats me. You never know god forbid you find out your wifes having an affair and you lose it a divorce her and then down the road you find the love of your life and she wants to have kids but you cant because you got snipped. Just saying you never know. I know a guy that got snipped because his wife pressured him to do it then 2 years later she ended pregnant. Blew his mind even went to the DR's and got tested to make sure it was done correctly and everything. Turns out it was his wifes boyfriends baby. Once it all came out she ended up leaving him for her lover and he was left alone to start over. Im just putting this out there because its something to think about. I know you probably trust your wife more then anyone on the planet. But trust me youd be surprised what the people closest to you still do!! All im going to say.. Be safe.
