Ordered the switchbacks last night. $72.00 plus $5.00 shipping = $77.00 total, which seems like a good price for what you get.

I think DD might have reduced the price from what it was a few weeks ago? But maybe I'm mis-remembering.

I've watched the install video and installation seems pretty straight forward. Is there anything I should be aware of or any tips to ensure a proper install?

Installation is super easy. Just make sure to turn your tires to get more access.

Or you can go overkill and remove your tires if you have the capability. It's a bit tight reaching into the bumper, but still overall pretty easy.

Or you could go on ebay and get the same thing for $20
That's the route I'll go if I change them. Spending 70 bucks for white light isn't worth it even though I did buy the reverse light and interior conversion

Wish I'd known about the $20 ebay bulbs. Are they good quality? I've had no issues with the other DD led bulbs that I bought from them.

I searched the forum and the DD switchbacks seem to be what other members
have gone with.

DD switchbacks are installed and I've got the galloping pony sound when the turn signal is on. So far, so good. They seem to be working just fine, but I haven't driven around with them yet.

A friend at work who installed them in his 2015 suggested spreading the pins on the bulbs out a bit to ensure a tight fit of the bulb in the socket, which I did. Hopefully, they want vibrate loose and cause any problems.

Easy install. Took about 15 minutes.

Ordered them, can't wait to install them

How hard is the installation now?
Not hard at all, Rogues. Diode Dynamics has a video of the install on their website. It's a little tighter fit to get your hands in there to change the bulbs, but it's pretty easy overall.

You'll like the look once it's done. Good luck with it.

Thanks, looks easy, just waiting for it to warm up, it's bone chilling cold outside (well, 37, but still)
