I can't imagine he has time to read the forums but, if he does, I'd like to personally thank him for all the terrific work he's put in not just in terms of the development of S550, but also on the event/communications side of things. You can tell he's a true enthusiast and S550 is his baby, as have been most of the recent superb S197 models. His enthusiasm in recent interviews and videos shines through.

I'm sure he'd be the first to say it's a team effort, and he'd be right. However, in Mr P we have a superb leader and I can't wait to see what he and the team do with S550 next.

Just look at that smile :)

It's really been good to see the continutiy of the Chief Engineer role this many years. Sometimes I have wondered if it is one of those stepping stone assignments to other management positions within Ford. And I agree with your assessment on the enthusiasm and "spokesperson-ability" he has demonstrated.

I hope to meet him in person at some point in the near term!

Agree with this completely. DP is a great asset to Ford and Mustang enthusiasts and deserves a nice long vacation after the S550 tour. It's really impressive how he's at every event doing presentations, interviews, Q&A, flying from one part of the country to the next in a few days, etc. I wonder if he, Raj and others will be following the S550 as it tours the country at the various auto shows. Knowing them, they probably will. :clap2:

Great note TT. I couldn't agree more.
Dave is a wonderful ambassador and architect for what we love about the Mustang and it's heritage.

I've been fortunate to talk to Dave several times over the last 3 years and he is a true enthusiast. Now if I could just get the "Pericak Tune" on my Boss 302. ;-)

I'm late to the party having been drawn in by the debut of the S550 and the guy has impressed the hell out of me. As a non mechanical/engineer type I found his technical explanations and discussions about the car to be fascinating and easy to grasp. Raj Nair has also impressed me with his talks at the various Mustang events.
