Maybe go back to Subaru. Pretty insulting when members verify information with Ford and you just dismiss it to suit your needs.

Well I had a '16 GT350 that shit the bed through no fault of my own. Ford replaced it with a '17. Put some miles on it and sold it. Have a Mach 1 now but just bought a '20 GT350R HE w/ 4K miles on it, gold certified. So the Mach 1 will be sold. Hope it works out this time, the Mach 1 has been stellar.
I would stick with the Mach 1 givin that choice

Hello; Read the first page of posts and the last two pages of posts currently in the thread. Not sure if any useful information is in the middle pages so forgive me if I missed it. It occurs to me in an indirect way such a data base may exist. I think one example is called "CAR FAX" or is it "CAR FOX"? A data base we can pay to access when shopping for used cars. I have seen such reports a few times.
I get the reports are linked to a specific vin #. My thinking is while those sorts of databases may not be linked to engines, there ought to be a way to glean out the information. Unknowns for me include how the CAR FOX and all get their information. My first guess is from insurance companies. Maybe much like companies we deal with sell our contact information, that insurance companies perhaps sell their databased information.
I also figure the data an insurance company has is very much broader than engines. Even so the engine information ought to be hidden in the data. Anyway, in an age where some clever folks can get into a cars locked factory tunes, they ought to be able to work out specifics on classes of engines.
A flaw in my thinking may be that data from insurance companies does not deal with engine failures the company does not have to pay for. Does anyone know how CAR FAX get the data?
