Sorry if this has been covered before....but is the DHG color only available to the Bullitt or could any mustang special order the color, because I thought I saw a GT in DHG as it had all the GT badging....

DHG is only available on the BULLITT. You may have seen "Guard" I think it can look green in certain light.... Unless of course someone bought a GT and had it repainted DHG.....

When you look at "Guard Metallic" in good lighting, it looks more like the real DHG than the color on the 2019 Bullitt.

"Dark Highland Green" is a Ford Mustang Bullitt exclusive color; it's whatever Ford says it is and it appears to have changed some over the years (probably different paint chemistry formulations as well). I don't think the original movie car paint was metallic, was it?

And Ford actually calls it Bright Highland Green internally.

Soooo....what does Ford call it Externally?? .... I’ve got about 54,000 reasons to call it Dark Highland Green ! There really is no argument.... it’s Dark Highland Green... or just Green....all I know is....it’s the only car available in whatever color it is!! lmao!!

I would too if it looked like that all the time. However, most of the time it looks grey. Especially if you don't have better than average color vision.

I was looking at your vehicle list by your name and it looks like quite a list of classic muscle. I will have a boss and a cobra jet mach 1 someday before I die. Hopefully. Lets see some pics

It is a fantastic colour. In an era where folks are afraid to get a car that isn’t black, white, silver or grey, in particular it looks fantastic. It’s nice to bring some colour back to this increasingly monochrome world.

Words like sacrilege, technically, blasphemy......etc.....do not exist when Modding these numbered BULLITS !! I’ve heard them all. The wheels get a ton of attention at the shows for sure!! Even the Shelby group at the Mustang Roundup in Belleview Wa a week ago!! The Center Caps...are Stickers I had made up and are on a flat surface. The wheels also come in a Charcoal that maybe the Purists May accept more readily! Having said that...I do like some Bling!! ....and the Roush rear spoiler!! ....lol. Thanx
