Ordered 5/28/24
Blend date 10/24/14
Build date 10/27/14

First snow date TODAY!!!!!!!!

I can't even begin to tell you guys how disgusted I am right now. I am probably one of the biggest Ford fans, let alone Mustang fans and I am completely spent through this whole process.

No news,
No media
No commercials
No car

My car has been build since Monday and there it sits waiting to be shipped. All I can think of is all the horror stories from other members who's cars stalled at the factory for one reason or another and now I'm afraid something is wrong and NOBODY has a freaking clue.

Contacted Tricia DAYS ago, no answer.
My dealer says they just show an ETA of 11/08 but no info as to it shipping.

Everything has been a god dam communications breakdown and as much as I love Ford I think this release has been a complete and utter failure

Rant over, sorry guys.

Maybe there is no additional information to give you. Maybe it's waiting for the right train. Breathe...there's no reason to believe the EDD is wrong until you've been told by your dealer it's delayed, or it doesn't show up on time.

Yah, I tell myself that over and over. I guess I've just reached my limit. I understand it's not late "yet" but this whole process has sucked and I am just worried I will be let down once again.

I can't vent to my wife anymore so just wanted to reach ou to you guys. Thanks for listening

I understand your frustration, but you can't expect them to have detailed communications with every single customer in regards to the status of their car. They are shipping thousands of Mustangs every week. Thousands of Ford cars every single day.

I'm not asking for direct contact with me. I am only asking they do a better job with our dealers.

If you don't known what I'm talking about then you haven't been through the same process as me and that's a good thing.

Trust me, it's better to be behind the curve a little and get a solid car than to be the first, and the first getting warranty work over many trips to the dealer. Patience, and at this point you have plenty of time to plan/perform mods before the weather clears up.

Also, this isn't just a Ford issue. Last year I ordered my C7 after the cars were fully in production and still had to wait over 3 months for the order to be picked up due to supplier constraints on the Z51 package and carbon fiber. Most of your wait has been before they even processed any orders.

Hang in there, it will all be a distant memory soon enough.

My car has been built since 9-24… it has hit every problem and recall. Mine is more than late at this point. It is a bad launch… no denying or arguing that. One that unfortunately though we have to live and deal with since we have no communication or power.

and we wait… ugh

:ford: said fall of 2014. Retail orders didn't come with a guaranteed delivery date, although I do understand the frustration of those who ordered in May, June and even July who still don't have their cars.

Sounds like you got a stock vehicle, consumers are supposed to get retail orders to help avoid these problems.

People are just upset because they can see a little info on their cars and they want more. If you ordered a car 5 years ago you wouldn't have half the info you have now.

Every impatient part of my body is telling me to tell you to STFU but you sir are 100% correct. I rather be frustrated due to delays instead of frustrated due to warranty repairs after I get my car.

This!!! Exactly why my dealer didn't not put in any of his 7 retail orders as stock orders.

Some people do not have the patience or personality to order from the factory. They are not telling you because they have many thousands of vehicles to ship, yours is not the only one and not the highest priority. Ford is a high volume company and is not a boutique company, they are geared to making many cars and shipping them to many places. Low volume/high cost car companies can afford to track and communicate on individual cars. If Ford were to open the door to giving finite details on one or two vehicles, then they are exposing themselves to thousands or tens of thousands of similar minded anxious customers.

Please have patience, you will get your car and you will love it. I would much rather they take their time and get it right than rush it out with exposure of potential critical mistakes.

Agree, it's been a terrible launch. I'm about ready to sell my Ford stock. I'm so frustrated with Ford and particular my Dealership for lack of communication.

You know, some people just need to vent and don't need Ford apologist. Go find a better cause to advocate on their behalf.
