Hi All, I’m trying to figure out why I’m experiencing 2 cylinders misfiring in my 2017 Mustang GT Premium. Cylinders 3 & 7 misfire every now and then when the car hits 45-50mph for about 15+ seconds and then start working again.

I’ve replaced the spark plugs and the ignition coils. Any ideas on what to try next? Thinking about taking it to Ford next.

Have you gotten a P0316 DTC? If so, try a crank relearn to see if that sorts out the misfire issue. Your handheld or nGauge tuner will allow for this.

I was wrong, the cylinders misfiring are 4 & 7. The codes I’m getting are P0300, P0304, and P0307.

Generally speaking, I also had those codes and no P0316. I did a crank relearn anyway and the misfires cleared. It can’t hurt to give it a shot.

Intake manifold probably needs replacing, the IMRC throttle shaft loves to break on those years

Definitely worth giving it a shot. I have an NGage tuner. Would you happen to know if there’s a good video out there to show me the process? Thanks!

Thanks for the info! I’m going to try a crank relearn first and then I’ll look into this if that doesn’t do it.
