Its now just held in with the push in rubber deal that is comes with. I just followed the lines on the cover if that helps. Also, paint wise, I just cleaned n masked it and used an H series spray and bake cerakote. Its paint that I use on the firearms I paint. Im sure any regular paint would suffice...Cover looks much better, was going down the same road. Made a cardboard pattern, seeing it done sets the tone.
That fits the car well, what paint type was used ?
Figured the mounting out, and where to cut. What helped, seeing it was how it covered the fuel rails. Its now just held in with the push in rubber deal that is comes with. You can pretty much use any paint you want long as you have the right primer.Figured the mounting out, and where to cut. What helped, seeing it was how it covered the fuel rails.
"bake cerakote" not heard of this. Checking will learn more. The trim plastic material is funny stuff to paint on.
So I ask experience what was used, not a believer or chance taker. Disagree here "any regular paint could suffice." playing with cars long enough to know better.
Thanks again for the picture it answered a question I had in mind
Keep up the good work
Good to know, thanks, experienced with metal same primer, scuff and shoot? You can pretty much use any paint you want long as you have the right primer.
I was still able to use the push pins to hold everything down.i used the roush coil covers for ther supercharger.Good to know, thanks, experienced with metal same primer, scuff and shoot?
That is a good looking cover. I asked a few after market folks about that for the 2020. Got a thumbs down, something about a high pressure pump or valve being in the way.
Heck can get around that easy enough, also mentioned the mounting different. Yours have the 4 rubber mounts on the intake, push pins on the cover bottom?
Would need to make the same cut to accommodate the Roush CAI. No strut tower brace built that way or removed?
Any way good looking aggressive cover.

Unfortunately the only drawback is those roush super charger covers aren't cheapOh man now you've done it ! I'm going over to Roush and have another look. I remember them, liked em......
Thank you Sir
