Alabama is $50. Years ago Virginia was only$1. No idea if that's still the case.

Depends on the plate you choose in Nebraska but it starts at $45/year for the basic state one and if you want to support a college or a cause then it jumps to $75/year

I think Alabama combines those cost. A "support" plate is $50 and then if you want to personalize it there's no extra charge.

Varies in CA depending on the plate style. $50 for the 1960 Legacy plates (black with orange/yellow lettering), which are perfect for a GT premium in Orange Fury... takes forever to get them, I'm at 3 months now

Its $50/year in ohio. I have a problem with the fact that you have to pay a special plate fee every year. They only make the plates once, why isn't it just a one time fee? It doesn't cost anyone extra money every year after that the plate has been made.

Louisiana charges an additional $25 per renewal which is every 2 years.

I saw a plate this morning that said BAKANAL. I am not sure if the person's last name was Bakanal, but I read it as Back Anal.
