I was at the DMV today transferring the title, and I was about to request my personalized plate until... she pulled this off the stack:

I figure I'll run with this for a while and see how it goes.

So, family trivia - I've got the 17 year old girl convinced that any car worth driving doesn't have an automatic (PRNDL). She's awesome with the clutch, by the way. Inspired by a joyride she took while mom and I were away, having left the Mustang and the keys at home...

There isn't one, back in the olden days, you had:

P - Park
R - Reverse
N - Neutral
D - Drive
2 - Second gear
1 - First gear

For ''60s, 70s, C4, C6, TH350, TH400, etc.

I overheard her talking to some friends the other day - "I love that car," she said. One day the computers will take over completely and all we'll be able to do is tell the car where we want to go by our thought waves. Until then, there's still some fun to be had - and I take my responsibility seriously to teach the next generation as best I can.

Now I just have to be extra careful not to stall the thing or I'll look like a first class tool with this license plate. I turned off the hill holder - it's caught me twice holding on to the brakes harder/longer than I expected. Effing computers.
